We are representing our client a leading furniture company bringing speed to market with capabilities in design, development, sourcing and production across a wide range of residential, office and contract furnishings.

Main Responsibilities
- Completes initial validation reviews at new factories to determine their current compliancestanding.
- Completes ongoing factory reviews to identify compliance violations, determine root causes for theviolations, and works with the factory to complete a Corrective Action Plan to address thoseviolations.
- Works alongside Factory personnel to make changes to the factorys internal systems in order toaddress Corrective Action items. Trains factory personnel in proper procedures and documentcompletion and retention.
- Trains factory on implementing System-wide processes and forms to address deficiencies in anyfactory management process.
- Fully understands the social compliance audit processes and is able to work with factories in orderto help train and guide the factories towards successful completion of customer audits (EthicalSourcing [ES] / Social Accountability [SA]).
- Understand US Customs Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (C-TPAT) requirements and how totrain and guide factories to be in full compliance with all regulations (Global Security Verification[GSV] / C-TPAT).
- Understands the overall manufacturing process and is able to guide factories and Whalen QCpersonnel in maintaining the factory quality system and its associated procedures, process,documentation and reports (Factory Capability and Capacity [FCCA] / Good ManufacturingPractices [GMP]).
- Understands the customer audit protocols and how factories need to meet these requirements.
- Completes ongoing training classes in order to keep up to date on all the current standards relatedto social and product compliance.
- Maintains day to day communication with their Supervisor, as necessary.
- Maintains 24 hour turnaround response time for overseas communications.
Qualifications & experience
- Candidate must possess Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Risk Management or anyrelated field.
- 2 years experience in social compliance, factory/security audits.
- Experience with RBA/SA8000, ISO9000 and ISO14000 certificate will be an advantage.
- Must be detail oriented and able to work under pressure and with constant deadlines.
- Ability to speak and write in English and Mandarin as required to communicate with China & Hong Kong counterpart.
- Ability to work independently and multitask.
- Ability to travel extensively across Muar.
