Senior Hydraulic Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Take ownership of engineering analysis and design for water-related projects
• Carry out hydraulic modelling, simulations, and technical assessments using relevant software
• Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project deliverables meet timelines and objectives
• Review and validate engineering drawings, calculations, and technical reports
• Support and mentor junior engineers within the team
• Ensure all work complies with applicable regulatory and safety requirements

Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline (specializing in hydrology/hydraulics preferred)
• At least 6-7 years of experience in hydraulic modelling, particularly in flood mitigation or drainage master planning projects
• Hands-on experience with tools such as DHI MIKE+, HEC-RAS, or CAD is an advantage
• Good communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment
• Strong problem solving skills and analytical thinking.
