Job Responsibilities
- Oversee full-spectrum accounting functions including General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and cash flow management.
- Prepare full set of accounts and ensure timely month-end and year-end closing.
- Ensure accuracy, completeness, and integrity of financial records and reports.
- Monitor AR/AP ageing, ensure timely collections and payments, and perform sub-ledger reconciliations.
- Perform bank and intercompany reconciliations and maintain proper accounting documentation.
- Support SST/GST, tax compliance, and statutory submissions; liaise with tax authorities when required.
- Maintain Fixed Asset Register and monitor depreciation schedules.
- Review payroll processing and ensure statutory compliance.
- Assist in preparation of management reports, financial analysis, budgets, and forecasts.
- Coordinate with external auditors, tax agents, company secretaries, and regulatory bodies.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, financial policies, and procedures.
- Supervise and guide finance team members in daily operations.
- Undertake ad-hoc tasks and process improvement initiatives as assigned.
Requirements
- Degree in Accounting/Finance or professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, CIMA, or equivalent).
- At least 4–6 years of hands-on experience in full-set accounting.
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards, taxation, and statutory requirements.
- Mandatory experience in SAP.
- Supervisory experience is an added advantage.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and MS Office applications.
- Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to meet tight deadlines.
- Good communication skills with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
