Company Overview
We are representing our client a process instrumentations & control solution in their search for a Business Development Manager to join their team
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead, manage, and oversee the overall performance of the sales department.
- Support and guide Outdoor Sales Engineers through joint customer visits and sales / business development activities.
- Develop and implement sales strategies and action plans for new market sectors.
- Prepare and present sales plans, market strategies, and business proposals to the Director for further action and approval.
- Achieve monthly departmental sales targets and KPIs.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, consultants, contractors, and project stakeholders.
- Conduct visits to consultants to promote product specifications and secure inclusion in project vendor lists.
- Monitor and follow up on market trends, ongoing projects, and upcoming developments within Malaysia.
- Identify, explore, and penetrate potential projects and business opportunities related to the company's products and services.
- Oversee stock inventory control and coordinate with relevant departments on stock availability and forecasting.
- Review and update product pricing lists when necessary.
- Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and market analysis for management review.
- Ensure excellent customer service and timely response to customer inquiries and project requirements.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 5–8 years of experience in Sales, Business Development in process intrumentation
- Prior experience in managing a sales team is preferred.
- Experience in industrial products, engineering products, or related industries will be an added advantage.
- Proven track record in achieving sales targets and business growth.
- Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to develop strategic sales plans and execute effectively.
- Independent, proactive, and results-oriented personality.
- Willing to travel extensively within Malaysia.
Job details:
- Remuneration package : Basic + Commission + Fixed Allowance
- Permanent employment
- Working hours: Mon-Fri (8.30am-6.00pm)
- Working location : Shah Alam
