Company Background:
We are representing our client, a global packaging manufacturer and recycling services provider established in 1988. From a boutique local operation, the company has expanded into an international supplier serving customers worldwide.
Position Title : Human Resources Executive
Location: Klang, Selangor
Working Hours: Working hours: 8:00 am to 5:30 pm / Monday to Friday
Job Responsibilities:
- Check and reconcile payroll system attendance with production clock-in/clock-out data daily for attendance and overtime tracking.
- Update and maintain employee attendance records and leave applications.
- Assist in payroll preparation by providing accurate data on employee absences and leaves.
- Issue warning letters and handle basic disciplinary documentation.
- Prepare necessary paperwork for HR policies and procedures.
- Process employee requests and provide relevant information efficiently.
- Control and manage the distribution of stationery and company T-shirts.
- Release pay slips, medical chits, immigration e-passes, and passports.
- Prepare applications for opening employee bank accounts, EPF, and SOCSO.
- Assist employees with bank account issues or lost debit cards.
- Arrange accommodation for newly recruited foreign workers.
- Check on workers' well-being and health status when issuing medical chits.
- Arrange transportation for worker FOMEMA medical check-ups.
- Conduct weekly spot checks and coordinate the cleaning of foreign workers' accommodation.
- Monitor monthly store inventory (stationery, safety shoes, etc.) and handle re-purchasing when stock level finishes before passing items to the person-in-charge.
- Prepare necessary documentation for accident cases to be submitted to JKKP (DOSH), insurance companies, and the Labour Office.
- Photocopy yearly permit renewals, update records, and distribute them to workers.
- Register fingerprints for newly joined staff and workers.
- Conduct company orientation and briefing sessions.
- Perform any additional responsibilities as and when instructed by the HR Executive.
Job Requirements
- Assist with the day-to-day operations of the HR functions and duties.
- Perform assigned duties provided by the Head of Human Resources.
- Handle HR and payroll software, including the Payroll 2u system and other government portals.
- Utilize computer skills in Microsoft Excel and MS Office applications.
- Ensure all company due dates and requirements are strictly met.
- Degree in Human Resources or a relevant filed is preferred, fresh graduates are highly encouraged to apply.
- Minimum 1 year working experience.
