Accountant

Company Background:

We are representing a logistics company (Singapore-HQ) with their office based locally in KL Sentral (Kuala Lumpur). We are looking for an Accountant, preferably ACCA holder (candidates without ACCA but strong experience are welcomed to apply).

Job Responsibilities:

• The unit leader for Kuala Lumpur Finance and Accounts unit, and report directly to the GM on matters pertaining to finance and accounting
• Prepare monthly asset utilization report and results.
• Checking and approval of vendor payment, crew salary payment and petty cash payment.
• Prepare quarterly tax computation and revising, filing, and ensuring monthly tax installment payment.
• Attend to queries by tax agent during yearly tax submission.
• Preparation of audit schedule and draft report audit required by auditor.
• Preparation of yearly budget and capture into WORKDAY accounts for budget supplement.
• Prepare forecast PL and cashflow on quarterly basis.
• Contribute and participate in all HSE matters as most appropriate that is in line with the Company's HSE policy.

Job Requirements:

• Candidates with ACCA is preferred (candidates without ACCA but strong experience are welcomed to apply)
• Minimum 5 years relevant working experience
• Proficient in written and conversational English

Job Details:

• Permanent employment
• Working hours : Mon - Fri (8:00AM to 5:00PM)
• Office is near to MRT KL Sentral station
