Responsibilities
Creative Direction & Quality Control
- Lead creative strategies for 810 education-focused accounts, ensuring deliverables (visuals, messaging, etc.) align with client objectives.
- Stay updated on education market trends and competitor activities to keep messaging fresh and in tune with evolving parent expectations.
Monthly Client Engagement
- Present monthly results to clients, highlighting tangible outcomes and potential next steps.
- Incorporate feedback to adapt campaign angles while preserving brand identity and authenticity.
Team Coordination & Mentorship
- Provide structured briefs to Copywriters, Designers, and Media Buyers, linking day-to-day tasks to broader client goals.
- Offer actionable feedback that drives creative excellence and boosts overall team morale.
Workflow & SOP Development (Including AI-Driven Enhancements)
- Identify repetitive or time-intensive tasks that could benefit from AI-assisted improvements (e.g., automated content generation, basic image/text variations).
- Document & Refine SOPs to integrate AI tools effectively, ensuring high standards of quality control.
- Train & Support the creative team in adopting AI-based methods, balancing automation with creative craftsmanship.
Team Development & KPI Management
- Establish clear KPIs for creative roles, spanning turnaround times, quality benchmarks, and collaborative milestones.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, providing coaching to help team members meet or surpass their targets.
Reporting & Troubleshooting
- Track campaign metrics (CTR, lead quality, brand engagement) to detect and address underperformance early.
- Share insights internally, suggesting strategic pivots or experimental tests to keep results on target.
Collaboration with Agency Lead & Other Stakeholders
- Coordinate with the Agency Lead on resource planning, budgeting, or wider operational priorities.
- Keep Account Managers informed about creative adjustments, timelines, and any necessary recalibrations.
Requirements
- 3-5+ years in a creative or marketing leadership role; agency experience or exposure to the education sector is beneficial.
- Demonstrable success overseeing multiple concurrent campaigns (810+) while maintaining a high standard of creative excellence.
- Skilled at diagnosing bottlenecks and introducing effective systems or tools (including AI) to address them.
- Capable of defining and monitoring key metrics to track creative quality, speed, and team member growth.
- Proficient in shaping compelling narratives and visuals for education-focused services and products.
- Comfortable iterating and testing new ideas to continually refresh marketing messages.
- Experienced in mentoring creatives, resolving internal challenges, and building a culture of continual learning.
- Confident in presenting campaign progress to clients, explaining key outcomes, and outlining future steps.
- Able to interpret engagement metrics and incorporate findings into refined creative approaches.
- Familiar with A/B testing principles, ensuring data-backed decisions guide ongoing improvements.
- Basic to intermediate understanding of how AI tools (e.g., content generators, machine learning-based analytics) can streamline creative tasks.
- Experience introducing AI solutions into daily workflows while maintaining brand consistency and quality standards.
- Self-motivated to deliver strong results, take responsibility, and address issues proactively.
- Constantly looking for ways to enhance or evolve creative processes, including AI-based approaches.
- Comfortable pivoting strategies as client needs shift or new tools emerge.
