About the job Opportunities in Venture Capital
Venture Capital
Venture Capital (VC) is a special form of private equity with the aim of investing in young promising start-ups and supporting them in their growth. Here, too, a significant part of the work consists of finding suitable companies, but the analysis of the target companies differs greatly from the approach of classic private equity funds. Instead of a detailed analysis of historical financials and profitability, VC funds focus more on assessing the founding team and the growth potential of possible target companies.
Development opportunities:
Similar to private equity, some prior experience is usually required to enter VC. Many VC exits hold senior management positions at former investee companies or found their own companies based on their experience with successful startups.
