Are you a Creative Strategist for health and wellness DTC brands who thinks in hooks, angles, and mechanisms?
If you can build scripts for winning ads.
Can pull up a winner and explain in 30 seconds why it worked: awareness level, angle, mechanism, and which one was the lever.
And you write Meta and TikTok scripts that scale past six figures in ad spend in health and wellness.
The Role
- Write high-converting short-form video ad scripts for TikTok, Meta, and YouTube Shorts.
- Develop hooks, angles, and concepts tailored to different avatars and awareness levels.
- Translate winning concepts into tight creative briefs for editors and creators (structure, tone, visual direction, production notes).
- Write supporting copy for landing pages, advertorials, listicles, and offer pages.
- Iterate fast based on performance data. Winners get scaled, losers get killed quickly.
- Use AI tools and workflows to accelerate research, ideation, and iteration.
Output Expectations
- About 40 creative briefs per month, each one ready for an editor to shoot or cut without coming back with questions.
- Every brief includes hook variations, angle, mechanism, shot list, and reference. Not bullet points and a vibe.
- New angles and iterations every week based on what is beating the bar.
The Workflow
We run a structured creative testing pod. Brand, media buyer, and creative work side by side. You will have direct access to performance data on every concept you ship and same-week feedback on what is winning. Tools we use: Adnova, Foreplay, Motion, Notion, Slack.

Systems Thinker. You build systems for winning creatives, not one-off ideas.

End-to-End Operator. You go from insight to angle to hook to script to brief to iteration loop.
Skills & Experience
Must-Haves:
- Hands-on writing short-form video ad scripts for both Meta and TikTok. Not email marketing, not long-form VSL, not static image ads, not Google Search.
- 3+ years writing copy for performance marketing.
- 18+ months in a Creative Strategist seat. Not Copywriter, not Account Manager, not Media Buyer who briefed creative.
- DTC startup or DTC-focused agency experience. Brands doing $1M to $50M in revenue. Not CPG, not multi-vertical, not local-services.
- Portfolio of 3+ short-form video ads you originated end to end. You wrote the hook, picked the angle, defined the mechanism. They ran on Meta or TikTok for 60+ days because they performed.
- Health, wellness, beauty, or fitness category experience.
- Working knowledge of AI tools for research and ideation.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Direct experience with Adnova, Foreplay, Motion.
- Experience writing unscripted talking-point briefs.
- A research swipe file you have built over years.
- Familiarity with creative production workflows.
What We Offer
- Compensation: $2,500 to $3,200 USD per month, plus performance bonus.
- Schedule: Remote, async, with some overlap with US business hours.
