Site Engineer (Electrical)

Workweek: 6 days (Mon-Fri, 8am – 5pm and Sat will end at 4pm, total 44 hours with breaks in between)

Annual Leave: 14 days (Additional 1 day per year capped at 21 days)

Outpatient Benefits: $500 per year (Include for dental)

Bonus Entitlement: 1 month x Annual Bonus (Upon completion of 12 months service)

Salary: $2,800to$4,000Monthly



Roles & Responsibilities

Job Summary

You will lead technical coordination and engineering support to ensure successful execution of electrical and ELV projects. Collaborate with sub-contractors and clients to resolve site issues, review contract specifications, and drive compliance with project standards.

Responsibilities

  • Interpret electrical and ELV schematic diagrams to guide project execution and ensure technical accuracy.
  • Coordinate and liaise with sub-contractors to facilitate smooth site work progress and timely issue resolution.
  • Review contract specifications and prepare variation orders to align with project requirements and changes.
  • Perform engineering design tasks including load and fault calculations to support project planning and safety.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues during installation, commissioning, and testing phases to maintain project quality.
  • Verify installation works comply with approved shop drawings, method statements, project specifications, and relevant standards.
  • Participate in regular site meetings with clients and sub-contractors to discuss progress and collaboratively resolve site matters.
  • Support Project, Site, and Construction Managers by monitoring project progress and assisting in project management activities.

Requirements:

  • IMPORTANT - MUST HAVE: Diploma/Degree --- education required to be in the Electrical engineering in order to hold the title of Site Engineer (Electrical).
  • Any races
  • Experience managing projects for industrial or commercial purposes.
  • Experience in MRT projects is advantageous.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving, coordination, and team collaboration skills.
