About the job Business Development Representative
We are looking for a proactive Business Development Representative to support our client acquisition efforts by identifying and engaging key decision makers in growing companies.
This role focuses on B2B prospecting and outreach, with the goal of identifying potential clients and initiating the first stage of the sales conversation. You will be responsible for researching companies, identifying relevant decision makers (particularly within HR leadership and growing businesses), and executing thoughtful outreach through professional channels such as LinkedIn and email.
This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys research, strategic prospecting, and initiating meaningful business conversations.
Key Responsibilities
Prospect Identification & Research

Identify potential client companies based on defined industry and growth criteria

Research companies to understand their structure, leadership, and potential business needs

Identify relevant decision makers including HR Directors, HR Leaders, People & Culture leaders, and founders of scaling companies
B2B Prospecting

Use professional tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator and similar platforms to identify and segment prospects

Build targeted prospect lists based on industry, company size, and strategic fit

Maintain organized records of prospects and research insights
Outreach & Initial Engagement

Initiate professional outreach through LinkedIn and email

Craft personalized outreach messages tailored to each prospect

Engage prospects in early conversations and identify potential opportunities
Pipeline Organization

Maintain accurate tracking of prospects and interactions in a CRM or lead tracking system

Ensure prospects are properly categorized and followed up when appropriate
