SAP FI/CO Application Engineer Medical Device Sector (German Speaking)

We are looking for a motivated SAP FI/CO Application Engineer for one of our important clients in Bern Canton. This is a full-time permanent role & comes with good home office flexibility.

Your Responsibilities :

Optimize Finance & Controlling processes: Analyse existing finance and controlling processes, identify potential for improvement & develop future-oriented solutions.

System design and further development: Configure and optimize the SAP FI/CO modules in the S/4HANA environment & take responsibility for complex requirements.

Solution Design & Architecture: Develop innovative solution concepts for challenging questions in the finance sector & ensure that these align with corporate strategy.

Ensuring quality: Manage & oversee unit, system & integration tests & ensure smooth acceptance.

Knowledge transfer: Train & support key users & colleagues in matters relating to processes & application systems.

Trusted Advisor in the SAP FI/CO environment: Act as the central contact person for specialist departments, IT & management when it comes to functional & technical questions in the SAP Finance & Controlling module.

Project work & change management: Take responsibility in projects, drive their progress & ensure compliance with change & governance guidelines.

Your Skills :

At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in SAP FI/CO, ideally including within international environments.

Skilled in the configuration & further development of FI & CO processes in the S/4HANA context.

A deep business understanding in accounting & controlling, combined with the ability to translate complex business requirements into viable IT solutions.

  • Proficient in developing pragmatic & innovative solutions, even in complex projects.

Your Profile :

  • Completed University Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science/Business Informatics or similar.
  • Strong communication skills: able to engage confidently at all levels, mediate between specialist departments & IT, & build trust with stakeholders.
  • Fluent in English & German (to at least B2 level, ideally C1 Level) are mandatory requirements.
