What you will do

  • Take responsibility for the operation and continuous improvement of a broad SAP landscape, including S/4HANA and other business-critical modules.
  • Ensure system stability, performance, and security, working with cloud and on-prem components.
  • Contribute to architectural discussions and help shape long-term platform evolution and technology choices.
  • Collaborate with experts in development, infrastructure, and security to keep the environment running smoothly.
  • Coordinate third-party providers for maintenance, integrations, and upgrades.
  • Drive activities such as updates, patching, monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
  • Support SAP-related projects such as new rollouts, system enhancements, and integrations with cloud solutions.
  • Maintain clear documentation and follow structured change processes.

What you bring

  • Around 5 years of experience working in as a SAP Basis Administrator.
  • Solid understanding of SAP security, roles & authorizations, and platform governance.
  • Experience with modern SAP environments (e.g., S/4HANA, cloud services, hybrid landscapes).
  • Ability to work independently and coordinate tasks with internal colleagues or external service partners.
  • Background in computer science, IT engineering, or equivalent hands-on experience.
  • Willingness to occasionally support maintenance work outside regular hours.
  • Fluent German (C1) and comfortable in English.
