We're supporting a well-established Swiss IT & consulting organisation known for delivering high-quality infrastructure services to a diverse client base (SMEs enterprise-level environments).

They are now looking for a Senior Senior Windows System Administrator to strengthen their team in Zurich.

Your Role

You'll play a key role in maintaining and optimising a complex, highly virtualised IT landscape, working across both internal systems and client environments.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Operating, monitoring & maintaining Microsoft-based infrastructure
• Managing and supporting M365 environments (Exchange, Teams, etc.)
• Working with Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops environments
• Troubleshooting & resolving incidents (2nd level support)
• Installing & optimising hardware, OS & standard software
• Managing backups, recovery & system performance
• Supporting security improvements & vulnerability fixes
• Contributing to IT projects when needed

Your Profile

• Background in IT Systems Engineering (or similar)
• 5+ years experience in complex IT environments
• Strong expertise across:
• Microsoft Server / Client environments
• M365 (essential)
• Citrix technologies (big advantage!)
• Basic knowledge of Linux / containers is a plus
• Microsoft certifications = bonus
