Senior Commercial P&C Insurance Expert (SME) – 3–4 Month Assignment | Adliswil (Hybrid)
A leading Swiss insurer is looking for a Senior Commercial P&C Insurance Expert to support a strategic SME project at their site in Adliswil. This contract position requires someone who can deliver from day one with deep Swiss market expertise.

Languages: English AND German and/or French
Ideal Profile
A senior P&C expert who combines technical underwriting know‑how with practical experience in product structures, portfolio steering and risk appetite management. Someone who can quickly understand the environment, work autonomously and deliver actionable recommendations.
What You'll Do
- Review & refine the P&C risk appetite framework
- Enhance the SME product offering
- Evaluate underwriting guidelines, limits & deductibles
- Analyze underwriting practices & market standards
- Optimize facility agreements & framework contracts
- Improve underwriting processes & workflows
- Document recommendations & present to stakeholders
What You Bring
- Strong experience in Swiss Commercial / SME P&C insurance
- Background as Underwriter, Technical Underwriter or P&C SME
- Deep knowledge of Property and/or Casualty
- Experience with risk appetite, product structures, guidelines & contracts
- Ability to work independently and add value immediately
- Fluency in German and/or French
Nice to Have
- Expertise in Property, Liability, Engineering or other SME P&C lines
- Experience with facility agreements, broker structures & coverage concepts
- Operational underwriting process optimization
