Your new challenge

As Sales Director EMEA you will be driving Aloxys growth across Europe, Middle East and Asia. Together with the team, consisting of Sales and Customer Success, you will implement and refine sales strategies, focusing on scaling key accounts and driving business development. The team manages leads and accounts through a long sales cycle. By providing guidance and direction, setting the right priorities, and a pragmatic approach, you make sure the right capacity and attention is going to the right customer or business opportunity. By ensuring seamless sales operations, fostering client relationships, and exploring new market opportunities this role is essential in transitioning Aloxy to a thriving scale-up.

You will be based in Antwerp, with regular travel across the EMEA region, working closely with the CEO and contributing directly to Aloxy's ambitious growth targets.

Key responsibilities

  • Sales Strategy Implementation: Execute and refine sales strategies, develop key account plans, and ensure adoption within the sales team.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, coach, and develop the sales team, ensuring operational consistency and achieving sales targets.
  • Business Development: Identify new sales opportunities, manage key accounts, and represent Aloxy at industry events.

In this position you take the lead for Sales in EMEA and APAC. You will become a sparring partner to the CEO, and part of global Sales and Customer Success.

Growing together towards a more reliable and safe industry

We believe we can support the transformation of Engery and Chemical industries with smart plug-and-play sensor technology that helps companies monetize their solutions. Aloxy was launched in 2018 to build specific solutions for the chemical and energy industry to facilitate the transition to Industry 4.0. The startup successfully developed a unique and patented manual valve monitoring solution. The current solution includes a valve sensor and an industrial IoT platform, the Aloxy IIoT Hub, to manage the fleet of IoT devices, monitor and optimize the network connectivity, and feed the captured sensor data to the customers systems.

The industry 4.0 transition is in full motion and more and more industry majors are investing in IoT and wireless network infrastructures. Aloxy is scaling-up, allowing new vibrant professionals to join the team and develop their careers along with developing the organization into the next phase of professionalization.

Your talent

  • a Bachelor or Master degree in the areas of Business Administration, Sales, or equivalent
  • 10+ years of experience in developing strategic client relationships, preferably in the Oil & Gas industry or in Smart Industry applications
  • experience with selling high value solutions, ideally in IIoT, Industry 4.0, or Smart Industry
  • over 5 years of leadership experience, managing a small team. You have experience in sales management and strategy development, developing vision on how sales is organized, structured and operationalized, including experience in lead qualification, and customer segmentation
  • you thrive in a dynamic scale-up environment, and enjoy the spirit and entrepreneurial vibes of a startup
  • you understand the complexity of larger corporate clients in de Oil & Gas industry, and know how to navigate through the decision-making unit
  • regular travel in the EMEA region is part of the deal

  • attractive compensation; depending on you seniority and experience this position offers a package of around EUR 110.000 gross a year, including holiday allowance. In addition you may expect a bonus and a lease car arrangement;
