Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Automation Engineer with expertise in automated cloud deployments, provisioning, and configuration. This role is within an Agile team responsible for the development of configuration-driven deployment processes for applications and their underlying infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Automation & Configuration: Develop and implement automated deployment processes for applications and infrastructure using tools like Ansible, Helm, Terraform, and Puppet.
• Agile Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Agile team to ensure the deployment and configuration processes align with the overall project goals and timelines.
• Programming & Scripting: Utilize programming languages such as Java, Python, and C to support automation tasks and infrastructure management.
• Cloud Environments: Ideally, leverage experience in cloud environments and software-defined data centers to optimize deployment strategies.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Must-Haves:
  • Expertise in Ansible for automation.
  • Strong knowledge of Helm, Terraform, Puppet, and general programming techniques.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, and C.
• Nice-to-Haves:
  • Experience working in cloud environments with software-defined data centers.
• Additional Requirements:
  • Language: Fluent in Dutch, both spoken and written.
  • Screening: No objection to a mandatory VGB-B security screening (approximately 2 months). The role will only commence after successful screening.
  • Dutch CV: The CV must be written in Dutch and include a personal motivation statement.
