Role Overview

As a Test Engineer specializing in automation for Atos Global, you will play a critical role in the development and maintenance of automated testing frameworks for the Air Traffic Management industry. Based in Brussels, this on-site role demands a strong background in test automation, particularly using Python, Selenium, and Cypress, to ensure the reliability and quality of software products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Test Automation Development: Develop and configure test automation frameworks, enhancing existing frameworks, and executing automated tests.
  • Tool Proficiency: Utilize tools such as Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, Playwright, Jira, and XRAY in conjunction with Python and Pytest to build and implement test automation.
  • Testing Strategy: Design and develop automated testing strategies, ensuring comprehensive coverage across acceptance, integration, and system testing phases.
  • Bug Tracking: Record test results, report software bugs, and verify bug fixes to meet automation criteria.
  • Collaborative Testing: Work closely with manual testers to define manual test cases and identify additional automation opportunities.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Clearly communicate testing activities, results, and defect tracking status to stakeholders.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Must-Haves:

    • Programming Languages: Demonstrable experience in programming with Python.
    • Test Automation Frameworks: Experience in designing and implementing test automation frameworks using tools such as Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, Playwright, and Pytest.
    • Performance Testing: Experience in designing and implementing performance testing frameworks.
    • Communication Skills: Ability to clearly communicate in English (B2/C1 level), both verbally and in writing.
    • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills with a methodical approach to complex issues.
    • Team Collaboration: Effective interpersonal skills for working within a project team.
  • Required Qualifications:

    • A minimum of 3 years of relevant automated testing experience.
    • Ability to work in a multinational and multicultural environment.
