Job Description: Network Tester (On-site, Netherlands)

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Network Tester to collaborate closely with production teams and product owners to enhance the productivity and predictability of various networks. Your role will involve acting as a sparring partner for product owners, ensuring a shared understanding of the challenges and contexts, which is crucial for improving cooperation and achieving common goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Network Testing: Work within the department responsible for secure infrastructure to test and validate network systems, ensuring they meet the necessary standards and performance criteria.
• Collaboration: Serve as a key partner to product owners, working together to define and clarify assignments early in the process to optimize team performance.
• Infrastructure Improvement: Contribute to the departments mission to renovate and optimize the network infrastructure while maintaining ongoing operations.
• Agile Practices: Apply Agile methodologies to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the IT infrastructure, working within an Agile, multidisciplinary team environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Must-Haves:
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in network testing within an enterprise environment.
  • Proven experience at HBO working and thinking level.
  • At least 2 years of experience working in an Agile IT infrastructure environment.
• Nice-to-Haves:
  • Experience in testing, test automation, and a strong understanding of system administration (Windows, Linux) and IT infrastructure.
  • Certifications in TMAP and ISTQB.
  • Experience working in Agile, multidisciplinary teams.
• Additional Requirements:
  • Language: Fluent in Dutch, both spoken and written.
  • Screening: No objection to a mandatory VGB-B security screening (approximately 2 months). The role will commence only after a successful screening.
  • Dutch CV: The CV must be written in Dutch and include a personal motivation statement.
