Introduction / Context
We are looking for a full-time experienced tester to reinforce the testing team in charge of the manual testing of the E-Submission in the Food Chain platform in Directorate General Health and Food Safety.
The E-Submission in the Food Chain platform (ESFC) is an application that exist to ensure further transparency of the risk assessment in the food chain, to increase the independence of the studies submitted to EFSA, strengthen the governance and scientific cooperation of EFSA and develop comprehensive risk communication.
Description of tasks
- Analyse users stories and/use cases/requirements for validity and feasibility
- Execute all levels of testing (System, Integration, and Regression)
- Detect and track software defects and inconsistencies
- Record and document results and compare to expected results
- Provide timely solutions
- Apply quality engineering principals throughout the Agile product lifecycle
- Provide and update test documentation
Knowledge and skills
- Excellent writing and communication skills
- Problem-solving skills
- Flexibility
- Up-to-date knowledge of software test design and testing methodologies.
- Knowledge of the Atlassian Suite (JIRA, Confluence and Zephyrs)
- Able to work in an international environment.
- Experience in a food safety sector is a plus
Location: offices in Brussels, Belgium
Work onsite needed 2 times per week from the Brussels office
