Role Overview

As a Network Engineer specializing in Cisco technologies, you will join Atos in Amstelveen, Netherlands, to work on the MKB UC-Basis portfolio. This includes technologies like Cisco Call Manager, Cisco Jabber Instant Messaging, Presence, Audio/Video Conferencing, Persistent Chat, Enterprise Voice, and Voicemail. The role requires a multidisciplinary approach to achieve set objectives, with a strong emphasis on working in critical environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Technical Documentation: Contribute to writing the technical design, detailed design, and associated documentation.
• Service Installation & Configuration: Install and configure services according to detailed designs.
• Configuration Documentation: Document the settings and configurations used.
• Script Development: Develop installation scripts to automate service deployment.
• Service Provisioning: Develop the provisioning process from infrastructure to end-user.
• Management Setup: Configure management functions, including monitoring.
• Agile Collaboration: Work in an Agile, multidisciplinary team of specialists.
• Technical Testing: Conduct technical tests and document the results.
• Issue Resolution: Resolve technical issues, potentially in collaboration with vendors.
• Migration Activities: Perform migration activities and resolve technical issues during and after migration.

Must-Have Qualifications

• Educational Background: A completed MBO (intermediate vocational education) in IT/Telematics or a related field.
• Relevant Experience: Demonstrable experience with Unified Communications in critical environments, preferably with Cisco knowledge and/or CCNA/CCNP Collaboration certification.
• IP Networks & Telephony Knowledge: Strong knowledge of IP networks and IP telephony.
• Virtualization Experience: Experience with installation and configuration in a virtualized environment.
• Nationality Requirement: A Dutch passport is required due to the nature of the screening process.

Screening Requirement

• A screening process of approximately 2 months is mandatory before the resource can start.
