About the job Key Account Manager (Marine)
Key Responsibilities

Develop and manage relationships with ship owners, ship managers, superintendents, and ship chandlers

Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through regular engagement and follow-ups

Handle sales negotiations, enquiries, and deal closures efficiently

Drive new business development and sales hunting activities

Prepare monthly sales reports, forecasts, and market analysis
-
Plan and execute sales action plans to secure leads and prospects
-
Lead and mentor a team of indoor sales coordinators, providing guidance on sales issues
-
Represent the company at marine exhibitions and industry events
-
Manage client meetings, correspondence, and relationship-building activities
-
Travel locally and regionally to support business growth
Requirements
-
Diploma or higher in Business, Sales, or Marketing
-
4–6 years of sales experience in gas detection products or systems within the marine industry
-
Strong experience dealing with marine stakeholders is highly advantageous
-
Proven leadership and team management capabilities
-
Performance-driven, target-oriented, and able to work independently
-
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
-
Able to manage pressure in a fast-paced sales environment
-
Willing to travel regionally (approximately 30%)
