Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage relationships with ship owners, ship managers, superintendents, and ship chandlers

  • Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through regular engagement and follow-ups

  • Handle sales negotiations, enquiries, and deal closures efficiently

  • Drive new business development and sales hunting activities

  • Prepare monthly sales reports, forecasts, and market analysis

  • Plan and execute sales action plans to secure leads and prospects

  • Lead and mentor a team of indoor sales coordinators, providing guidance on sales issues

  • Represent the company at marine exhibitions and industry events

  • Manage client meetings, correspondence, and relationship-building activities

  • Travel locally and regionally to support business growth

Requirements

  • Diploma or higher in Business, Sales, or Marketing

  • 4–6 years of sales experience in gas detection products or systems within the marine industry

  • Strong experience dealing with marine stakeholders is highly advantageous

  • Proven leadership and team management capabilities

  • Performance-driven, target-oriented, and able to work independently

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills

  • Able to manage pressure in a fast-paced sales environment

  • Willing to travel regionally (approximately 30%)

  • Immediate or short notice availability is a plus
