Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Sales Manager to drive business growth within the marine and offshore industry. The role focuses on developing new customer accounts, managing key client relationships, promoting marine equipment and technical services, and overseeing the complete sales cycle from lead generation to project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and business growth targets.
- Identify new business opportunities and expand relationships with shipowners, ship managers, shipyards, offshore operators, EPC contractors, and marine service providers.
- Promote marine HVAC/R systems, compressors, refrigeration equipment, spare parts, technical services, and ship supplies.
- Conduct customer visits, technical presentations, and sales meetings to secure new business.
- Prepare quotations, proposals, tenders, and negotiate commercial terms.
- Coordinate with suppliers, procurement, operations, logistics, and technical teams to ensure smooth project execution and timely delivery.
- Monitor sales forecasts, market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements.
- Provide post-sales support, resolve customer issues, and maintain long-term client relationships.
- Follow up on outstanding payments and maintain accurate sales and CRM records.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Marine Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of B2B sales experience in the marine, offshore, shipbuilding, oil & gas, HVAC/R, marine equipment, or ship supply industry.
- Strong knowledge of marine HVAC/R systems, compressors, refrigeration equipment, spare parts, or technical services.
- Existing network with shipowners, ship managers, shipyards, or offshore clients is highly advantageous.
- Proven experience in business development, technical sales, contract negotiation, and account management.
- Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and customer relationship management skills.
- Self-driven, commercially focused, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
- Willing to travel locally and overseas as required.
