Position
Senior Manager for Regional Business & Strategy, New Business Development and Project Management
The Senor Manger will focus on development and execution of ASEAN Regional Business & Strategy, New Business Development and Incubation, as well as Project Management. The position will be responsible to research the market environment and discover business opportunities, as well as work with regional stakeholders to develop and create new solutions/services offerings. The position will also work closely with other team members in the Regional and Global Headquarters. He/she will need to have in-depth knowledge and experience in business strategy, and new business incubation activities and practices in the ASEAN market.
Reporting Structure
• Reports to the Vice President, Regional Business & Strategy, ASEAN Regional Headquarters.
Responsibilities
Regional Business & Strategy
• To support development of mid to long-term ASEAN regional business strategies.
• To work closely with the regional team to actively support the execution of regional and
country business strategy plans and new business incubation activities.
• To align ASEAN regional goals and business strategies to the business units Global
Headquarters.
• To conduct market research and analyses of regional business opportunities, by assessing
market trends and competitors with the aim to present findings and opportunities with
recommend actions.
• To support Management in decision-making processes.
• To maintain engaging relations with Business Leaders to ensure alignment of strategies.
New Business Development
• New business development is an important role in ensuring the mid to long term business in ASEAN regional growth
• To create new businesses by identifying opportunities from business requirements and social issues through relevant solutions offering.
• To develop solution portfolio with other business unit teams to align solution offerings.

• To conduct market research on potential businesses, and industry trends so as to identify potential business opportunities.
• To create new business models through utilizing of financial modeling, operational modeling and product pricing.
• To build business relationships with relevant stakeholders by working with potential clients, partners, startups and etc.
• To be creative with the ability to think outside the box, proactive in pursuing new opportunities and have strategic thinking and approach.
• To create informative presentations and deliver information to potential clients.
Project Management
• To manage project risks and issues by analyzing project plan, schedule, cost, and resources required. This would include mitigation plans.
• To monitor project progress by controlling high risk projects, and identify potential problems in the project with early resolution.
• To implement project communications and processes including project meetings and status reports.
Requirements and Qualifications
• Strong knowledge of business development.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification is a must.
• Highly advantageous to have technical or background in ICT products/services.
• Proactive in driving business development.
• More than 10 years of experience in business development, management consulting or
strategic planning.
• Excellent written, oral communication and presentation skills.
• Highly goal oriented, self-motivated, think creative and strategically
• Team player, and possess good interpersonal skills.
• Outstanding research and analytical abilities.
• Strong leadership and project management skills.
• At least a Bachelor degree in business or IT related field.
