Talent Source is seeking Junior Aerospace Manufacturing Technicians to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have foundational experience in aerospace manufacturing, with a strong commitment to precision, quality, and adherence to industry standards.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the assembly, installation, and repair of aerospace components and systems according to engineering specifications and quality standards.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions to accurately perform manufacturing tasks.
- Operate and maintain manufacturing equipment and tools, ensuring proper functionality and safety.
- Perform inspections and quality checks to ensure products meet required specifications and standards.
- Follow detailed work instructions and safety protocols to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines.
- Collaborate with senior technicians and engineers to address and resolve production issues or discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and compliance with quality standards.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing processes and efficiency.
- Stay updated with the latest industry standards, technologies, and best practices in aerospace manufacturing.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certifications in aerospace manufacturing preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in aerospace manufacturing or a related field.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions.
- Basic knowledge of aerospace manufacturing processes, tools, and equipment.
- Excellent attention to detail and precision in performing manufacturing tasks.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot manufacturing issues.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy objects, standing for extended periods, and working in confined spaces.
