Position : Asisstant Accounting Manager (Manufacture Industry)
Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Assistant Manager Accounting to support and oversee the daily accounting operations of our manufacturing business. This role involves managing financial reporting, cost accounting, tax compliance, and internal controls, while also supporting the Accounting Manager in leading the accounting team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily accounting operations including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations.
- Review and ensure the accuracy of journal entries and financial transactions.
- Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with PSAK (Indonesian GAAP).
- Monitor and analyze cost accounting related to production, inventory, raw materials, and overhead.
- Support the budgeting and forecasting processes in coordination with other departments.
- Ensure timely and accurate tax reporting (PPN, PPh 21, PPh 23, PPh 25, etc.) and coordinate with external consultants if needed.
- Assist in managing audits (internal and external) and ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies.
- Lead and mentor junior accounting staff; provide guidance and training as necessary.
- Recommend improvements to accounting processes, systems, and reporting for better efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or assistant manager role in Manufacture
- Strong knowledge of cost accounting in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficient in Indonesian Financial Accounting Standards (PSAK) and Indonesian tax regulations.
- Experience with accounting or ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Accurate).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, analysis).
- High level of integrity, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills.
Good communication in english
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in audit preparation and inventory accounting.
- Familiarity with manufacturing operations and the impact on financial processes.
- Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
