Business Development Engineer

Objectives:

1. Develop and execute strategy for the groups newly established Property Development / Leasing and Construction Services business unit
2. Accountable for achieving top-line and bottom-line financials for the Property Development & Leasing business unit
3. Deliver property development projects within approved budgets, specifications and timelines
4. Develop a highly motivated and performing team striving to achieve organisation goals and objectives
5. Ensure all business activities are in line with local laws and company policies

Responsibilities

1. Identifying business opportunities for property development & leasing and construction services within Timor-Leste market
2. Develop and execute the business strategy to achieve organisation goals and objectives
3. Overseeing development and construction projects to ensure they are delivered to approved budgets, specifications / standards and timelines
4. Developing and managing a team across property development, sales leasing, management and construction activities
5. Responsible for operations management of property assets including sales, marketing, leasing, maintenance and stakeholder / client relationships

Qualifications / Skills

· Bachelor or Master’s degree equivalent in Civil engineering

· Proven experience and in-depth understanding of Australian standards for Industrial / Commercial and Residential property development and construction - mandatory

· At least 5 or more years’ experience in related industry (i.e. Project Engineer, Site Engineer and / or Business Development engineer

· Proven experience in business development, sales and marketing

· Strong communication and leadership skills
