Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager – Audit to lead external audit engagements across a diverse client portfolio. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing audit teams, ensuring high-quality audit delivery, maintaining client relationships, and contributing to business development initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage external audit engagements from planning through completion.
- Develop audit plans, supervise fieldwork, and review audit working papers.
- Review financial statements to ensure compliance with Indonesian Auditing Standards (SPAP) and Financial Accounting Standards (SAK).
- Serve as the primary contact for clients throughout audit engagements.
- Review audit findings and provide practical recommendations to clients.
- Prepare lead schedules, audit adjustments, and audit-related financial reporting.
- Ensure audit engagements are completed within agreed timelines and budgets.
- Supervise, coach, and develop audit team members.
- Support proposal preparation, business development, and client acquisition activities.
- Ensure compliance with professional standards, firm policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with management, clients, and relevant regulatory authorities throughout the audit process.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
- Minimum 5–8 years of external audit experience.
- Previous experience with a Public Accounting Firm (KAP) is mandatory.
- Proven experience leading audit engagements and managing audit teams.
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian Auditing Standards (SPAP) and Financial Accounting Standards (SAK).
- Good command of English, both written and spoken.
- Excellent leadership, communication, analytical, and client relationship management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple engagements and perform effectively under tight deadlines.
