Report to: Zona Head Manager
Job Purpose:
To plan and execute the sales plan and strategy for the domestic market of Indonesian
spinning units with combined annual sales turnover of USD 75 Mn / Year & Volume
30610 MT.
Maintain receivables within budget (for limit & number days), achieve budgeted sales
volumes & contributions margins and continuously strive to increase profitability.
Focus to continuously increase the value added products sales and contribute to business
and product development activities, by exploring new products, new end use segments
and new customer base.
Job Description:
Key Result Areas/Accountabilities Supporting Actions
1. MARKET TREND ANALYSIS
Conduct and review market trend analysis and
demand forecasting of various product and to meet
the desired targets for each market pricing
decision.
• Ensure analyzing the market trends from previous
sales achieved and plan to achieve sales for
allocated target quantity 30610 MT/ year i.e USD
75 Mln.
• Monitor trends and seasonality through market
visits, discussions with customers, competitors, and
trade organizations.
• Decide prices under prevailing market situations
and profitability targets within guidelines.
2. SALES & REVENUES
To deliver Product mix and realization to achieve
desired sales and revenues.
• To book orders as per market situation, customer
requirements, product viability & available
resources.
• Emphasize to utilize all VAP installed equipment.
• Complete utilization of m/c’s and job doubling
arrangements and sale of second quality materials.
3. ASSESSMENT OF FINANCIAL HEALTH OF
CUSTOMERS FOR PROPOSING CREDIT
LIMIT ELIGIBILITY.
• To prepare detailed customer profile by visiting
the customers and take reference from market to
estimate & recommend credit limits ranging from
USD 50000 to USD 2 Mln.
• Weekly monitoring of the Ughai status and to
maintain their Ughai within limit and maintain
control over dues.
• Pursue for critical / delayed Ughai, if any.
4. FINISHED GOODS DELIVERY
Maintain finished goods inventory delivery
as per customer requirement & after sales
service as per policy.
• To plan deliveries daily on the basis of customer
requirement, credit limits balance & payment
position.
• To co-ordinate with production for timely
deliveries.
• Addressing customer complaint, settling claims, if
any.
5. MARKET INTELLIGENCE
Develop the system for capturing market
information to support decision making and
formulating the strategy for the domestic market.
• Update information of trade, competitor’s activity
and competition.
• Participate in trade fares and arrange local
customer meets.
6. DRIVE BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT AND
PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT
• Tie up with local customers and drive fabric
orders and use company’s products, conduct trials
& develop new VAP.
• Regular interaction with customers to develop
new value added products for mutual benefit and
enhance customer satisfaction level.
• Obtain references from the market of potential
prospects and approach them.
7. BANDUNG OFFICE
Monitoring and controlling financial and
administrative management of Bandung premises.
• To develop, & lead the Bandung support staff
Team.
• Maintain vigil on routine activities like daily
dispatches, Ughai, production instructions etc.
To do the administrative works of Bandung office.
8. LIQUIDATION OF B-GRADE STOCKS
• Timely clearance of B-grade stocks.
• Process for ensuring financial integrity is
followed.
9. BUILD Company BRAND IN LOCAL
MARKET
• Promote company’s brand in the local market.
• Communicate the value proposition gradual shift
towards selling yarn as company’s name.
