About the job HR Officer

An international school in Jakarta is looking for an HR Officer to support the establishment and management of its HR system. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling HR administration, compensation & benefits, recruitment, HRIS management, industrial relations, Performance Management System (PMS), and Training & Development. JOB DESCRIPTIONS
1. HR Administration:
a. Manage employee contract and employee database
b. Draft official letters, memos, and other HR-related correspondence
c. Handle other general administrative tasks related to HR operations
d. Ensure a smooth orientation process for new employees
2. Compensation and Benefits:
a. End to end payroll: recapt attendance, calculate Pph21 and deductions, etc
b. Handle end to end other benefits for expatriate and local employees
c. Calculate compensation and other incomes including the tax deduction
3. HRIS Management: Maintain and update employee records in the HRIS system.
4. Recruitment: Assist in sourcing, selecting, and onboarding new employees.
5. Policies & Procedures: Develop and communicate HR policies and procedures to employees.
6. Industrial Relations: Bridge communication between management and employees.
7. Performance Management System (PMS): Handle the administration and implementation of the employee performance evaluation system.
8. HR System Development: Contribute to the development and implementation of HR systems and processes.

QUALIFICATIONS
1. Minimum 3 years of experience in Human Resources
2. Strong understanding of HR administration, payroll, employee contracts, and labor regulations
3. Payroll & tax expertise including salary processing, PPh 21 compliance, BPJS administration, and Brevet Tax certification (A & B)
4. Proficient in using HRIS and payroll software (Talenta, Sleekr, Gadjian, or similar) for employee data management
5. Tech-Savvy – comfortable using HR software, Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and digital tools
6. Experience in recruitment, onboarding & development programs
7. Knowledge of Performance Management System (PMS) and ability to draft official letters and administrative documentation
8. Hands-on experience in HR system development is a plus
9. Fluent in English (both verbal and written) – required for communication within an international work environment
10. Strong communication skills, detail-oriented, and proactive
