About our Client

Our client is a growing Indonesia-based crypto trading platform that allows users to buy and sell crypto assets like BTC, ETH, USDT, DOGE, and more, through their mobile apps. They were founded in 2020 and are registered and overseen by BAPPEBTI. Per the new regulation, they also comply with OJK.

About the Role

Our client is seeking an exceptional CEO to lead their crypto exchange into its next phase of growth. You will be responsible for building and executing a robust business strategy, ensuring regulatory compliance, developing high-performing teams, and expanding their presence in both local and international markets.

Our client offers autonomy to shape the company's future, exposure to global markets and investors, and provides strong shareholder support.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and lead the overall strategy and vision of the exchange.
• Build and oversee a world-class executive team (CTO, COO, CMO, etc).
• Develop regulatory relationships with bodies like Bappebti, OJK, or MAS.
• Ensure platform scalability, product innovation, and user trust.
• Drive user growth, coin/token listings, and institutional partnerships.
• Report directly to the Board and lead fundraising or investor relations.
• International business travels

Ideal Background

• 10+ years in finance, fintech, crypto, or capital markets.
• Prior C-level experience in a high-growth or regulated environment.
• Deep knowledge of crypto trading ecosystems, blockchain, and compliance.
• Networked with regulators, VCs, institutional partners.
• Entrepreneurial mindset, strategic thinker, and team builder.
