Responsibilities:

  • Team Management

    • Supervise and mentor a team of procurement specialists and buyers.
    • Assign tasks, evaluate performance, and conduct training on procurement policies, procedures, and systems.
    • Conduct performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
  • Procurement Strategy

    • Assess procurement needs and develop strategic sourcing plans.
    • Identify potential vendors and conduct thorough vendor evaluations.
    • Negotiate contracts with vendors to ensure competitive pricing and favorable terms.
  • Purchase Order Management

    • Review and approve purchase requisitions from various departments.
    • Generate and issue purchase orders while ensuring accuracy and compliance.
    • Monitor order status and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Cost Control

    • Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to optimize procurement expenses.
    • Analyze spending trends and recommend areas for cost reduction.
  • Quality Assurance

    • Establish and enforce quality standards for procured goods and services.
    • Conduct quality inspections and address any non-compliance issues with vendors.
  • Compliance

    • Ensure adherence to all procurement policies, regulations, and legal requirements.
    • Monitor vendor compliance and take corrective actions when necessary.
  • Reporting & Analysis

    • Generate procurement reports and dashboards to track key performance metrics.
    • Analyze data to identify trends and support data-driven procurement decisions.


Qualification:

  • Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement, with supervisory experience preferred.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in procurement software, ERP systems, and data analysis tools.
    • Strong understanding of EXIM (Export-Import) regulations.
    • Active English communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Soft Skills:
