Job Purpose (Tasks)

• Responsible locally/regionally for providing technical assistance to dedicated customers and the FUCHS Sales Team in the related market segment, applications and/or product category
• Lead of technical customer projects, product trials, application mapping, technical/product presentation, and technical support
• First line field technical support to sales for troubleshooting problems (2nd level support if Field Sales Engineers exist in sales)

Main Responsibilities

• Prime contact regarding product and application expertise in the related product group
• Provide technical support to sales team and customers, incl. product recommendation and technical advice
• Lead all customer field trials and technical projects incl. technical communication to the customer. Coordinate sales teams activities, coach if necessary and analyse the success of the trials, prepare internal and external written reports
• Conduct technical trainings for internal staff, distributors and customers
• Compile and contribute with application related know-how and success stories to the product information platform
• Collaborate with Product Manager for activities supporting product life cycle management, approvals and training
• Manage product related customer complaints and Quality Management requirements (Handle product related customer complaints, investigate and troubleshoot defects).
• Regular visits and visit reports of key customers & routine technology visits, inspections, maintenance and adjustment for products in use, to ensure product operates in customers system correctly
• Develop proposals for new products and applications as required
• Compile success stories and share knowledge on competition products and applications
• Collaboration
  • o Strong collaboration with Sales, R&D, Marketing, Supply chain and local affiliates / divisional and central departments

Requirements

Education :Bachelor Degree chemical, mechanical, industrial engineering, business petroleum, metallurgy or science

Job specific knowledge

• Proficient in spoken and written English and the local language
• Good command of MS Office
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Ability to work in a team
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Well-developed project management skills
• Used oil analisist knowledge

Language skills and level of proficiency

• Intermediate

Work experience

• Preference 3-5 years of experience in in key industry (e.g. chemical, lubricants, machine tool, market segments)
