Job description

Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or equivalent in a related field Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in the chemical industry

Must have knowledgeable about general chemicals such as Sodium Bicarbonate, Sodium Hydrosulphite, Soda Ash, Sodium Nitrite, Caustic Soda Flakes, Sodium Sulphide Flakes, Sodium Metabisulphite or other industrial chemicals

Must have a database of existing customers and potential customers

Must be willing to travel to other provinces/cities to meet existing or potential customers Must be able to work under pressure

Must be able to meet deadlines and sales targets

Must be creative and innovative in getting new customers

Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills

Confident, assertive and self-controlled

Responsibilities

Identify prospects and predict sales

Contact existing and new customers to discuss possible order requirements Can market product functions and highlight how they solve customer problems Willing to answer queries from customers about products

Maintain a contact list and follow up with customers to continue the existing cordial relationship
