The Supermarket Manager will oversee all aspects of store management, from staffing and training to inventory control and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all aspects of Fresh supermarket operations, including sales, staffing, inventory management, and customer service.
- Hire, train, and supervise a team of employees, providing coaching and support to ensure a high level of performance and customer satisfaction.
- Develop and implement sales strategies, promotional campaigns, and merchandising initiatives to drive traffic and increase sales.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as local, state, and federal regulations governing retail operations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe store environment, adhering to health and safety standards and best practices.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and issues in a prompt and professional manner, striving to resolve concerns and exceed expectations.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with customers, vendors, suppliers, and community stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in retail management, with a focus on supermarket or grocery store operations.
- Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse workforce.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Proficiency in retail management software, POS systems, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Knowledge of merchandising principles, inventory management techniques, and sales strategies.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
- Commitment to excellence, integrity, and continuous improvement.
