Deputy VP Operation 

Location: Konawe, Southeast Sulawesi

Responsibilities:

  • Establish strategies and ensure that there is a risk control management system for safety, health, work environment, and company asset protection
  • Take the necessary initiatives and actions to realize operations that meet and achieve the safety, health, environmental and asset protection goals set by the company
  • Establish strategies, carry out supervision, and ensure that the transportation/sale of ore is achieved according to the set targets
  • Structure the organization so as to be able to support operations flexibly and efficiently
  • Synergizing support divisions such as infrastructure, HR-GA, Commercial, Logistics, IT and Forestry, to be able to support operations effectively and efficiently
  • Together with the commercial team to monitor and control costs and take the necessary actions to achieve efficient cost operations
  • Together with the HR team determine the required team competencies and carry out employee development so that they are able to support operations
  • Leading the operations team in carrying out the execution of strategy initiatives that have been identified in operations area
  • Lead continuous improvements so that operations are safer, meet standards, increase performance - productivity, or reduce costs while maintaining the quality of results and work

Qualifications:

  • Graduate (S1) majoring from Mine engineering, Geology, Geodetic or Civil Engineering
  • More than 20 years experience in mining industry (Nickel, Coal, Copper, Gold)
  • The holder of Primary Operational Supervisor (POU) certificate that is released by ministry resources and minerals - government
  • Proficient in English both oral and written
  • Able to communicate in Mandarin will be a plus point
  • Business strategic and improvement approach
  • Adaptability to work on remote site
