Job Description:
Join our client as a Plantation Manager and be a part of our mission to produce palm oil sustainably and responsibly. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to lead our palm oil plantation operations. As the Plantation Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of plantation management, from seedling production to palm oil extraction. Your leadership and expertise will be essential in ensuring the success and sustainability of our palm oil operations.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive plantation management plans, including land preparation, planting, harvesting, and milling activities.
- Monitor and optimize palm oil yields through effective agronomic practices, irrigation management, and pest control measures.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of plantation workers, ensuring productivity, safety, and adherence to quality standards.
- Collaborate with agronomists, researchers, and industry experts to implement innovative techniques and best practices.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, environmental standards, and sustainability certifications.
- Engage with local communities, stakeholders, and government agencies to foster positive relationships and support community development initiatives.
- Manage plantation budgets, expenses, and resources effectively to achieve financial targets and operational objectives.
- Maintain accurate records and reports on plantation activities, including crop yields, inventory, and sustainability metrics.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, or related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in palm oil plantation management, with a proven track record of success.
- Strong knowledge of palm oil cultivation, processing, and industry trends.
- Leadership abilities, with experience in managing and developing teams in a plantation setting.
- Familiarity with sustainable agriculture practices, environmental stewardship, and social responsibility principles.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in agricultural software, MS Office, and data analysis tools.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Commitment to ethical business practices and corporate citizenship.
- Willing to place in Aceh or Kalimantan
