Our client is a leading manufacturer of power transformers, shunt reactors, and other high-voltage electrical equipment, serving both domestic and international markets with innovative and reliable solutions.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop electrical design calculations for Power Transformers and Autotransformers with ratings up to 275kV and 100 MVA, including Shunt Reactors, Automatic Voltage Regulators (AVR), and special transformers.
  2. Provide detailed insulation designs for active parts and prepare soft floor drawings for active part layouts.
  3. Prepare Bills of Materials (BOM) for active parts, including winding conductors, magnetic cores, insulation materials, and conductive insulation components.
  4. Support the Sales team with technical advice for customer discussions.
  5. Assist the Sales team in preparing proposals by reviewing customer technical documents, preparing Bills of Materials, providing technical specifications, and completing customer technical data sheets as needed. 

  6. Define all transformer accessories during the project phase, in accordance with customer technical specifications, including components like OLTC/OCTC, PRD, Buchholz relays, oil level gauges, and others.
  7. Prepare technical data sheets for all accessories to be used in transformers and provide technical clarification to the Purchasing team during supplier interactions.
  8. During the project phase, prepare technical specifications, rating plates, customer data sheets, and any additional documentation required for customer approval.
  9. Support the Project team in technical discussions with customers, including attending design review meetings.
  10. Provide technical advice and alternative solutions to the Production team during the manufacturing process, resolving issues as they arise.
  11. Assist the Testing team during Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), troubleshoot issues, and provide mitigation strategies for any problems encountered.


Qualification:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in designing Power Transformers with a rating of at least 150kV is mandatory.
  • Proven ability to independently design Power Transformers with a minimum voltage of 150kV without relying on software tools.
  • Proficient in English communication, both written and verbal.
  • Strong knowledge of Indonesian and international transformer standards, such as SPLN, IEC 60076, and ANSI C57.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Expertise in AutoCAD 2D software is required.
  • Proficiency in 3D design software (e.g., SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor, or PTC Creo) is highly preferred.
