Job Description:

They are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Buyer/Merchandiser to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing, selecting, and procuring merchandise that aligns with their brand identity and appeals to their target market. The Senior Buyer/Merchandiser will work closely with vendors and internal teams to ensure product availability, optimize inventory levels, and drive sales while maintaining profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute strategic buying plans to achieve sales and margin targets.

- Source and negotiate with vendors to secure advantageous terms.

- Build and maintain strong vendor relationships to ensure timely delivery and product quality.

- Analyze market trends, customer preferences, and sales data to make informed buying decisions.

- Collaborate with the marketing team on promotional strategies and product launches.

- Monitor inventory levels and manage stock replenishment to minimize out-of-stock situations.

- Conduct regular competitor analysis to stay informed about industry trends and pricing strategies.

- Forecast sales trends and prepare accurate reports on buying activities.

Requirements:

- Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Fashion Merchandising, Marketing, or related field. A Masters degree is a plus.

- Proven experience as a Senior Buyer, Buyer, or Merchandiser in the retail industry, preferably within luxury products, min 5 years of working experience. 

- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with vendors.

- Excellent analytical skills with a deep understanding of retail mathematics and inventory management.

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

- Strategic thinker with a keen eye for detail and a passion for luxury products.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with inventory management software is a plus.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
