Electrical - Mechanical Maintenance Head

PT Mahindra Accelo Steel Indonesia (PT. MASI) is a subsidiary company of Mahindra Intertrade Limited (MIL), India. MIL is a Group company of one of the most reputed group of India i.e. Mahindra & Mahindra. PT. MASI has been incorporated on 19th December 2018 in Indonesia. It proposes to set up an electrical steel service centre in DS 8, Lippo Cikarang.

Proposed facility is expected to be set up at 10.000 square meters of land and have an annual processing capacity of 25.200 tonnes. This state-of-the-art facility manufacturing CRGO laminations and slits will offer the full range of services from sourcing to customized JIT delivery solutions. It will redefine the supply chain model in the .region - backed by global leader in this field, Nippon Steel Corporation, Japan.

The raw material will be sourced from Japan. The steel service centre will offer electric transformer manufacturer in Indonesia and nearby region, an entire bouquet of end-to-end services such as sourcing, warehousing, yield optimization, forex risk management and SKU-wise delivery and products such as laminations, built core and profiles.

Requirements:

• Having 10-15 years experience in the related fields

• Bachelors degree from Electrical Engineering or related field

• Have good Electrical and Mechanical skill

• Computer literate (Ms. Excel, Power Point) is an advantage

• Fluency in English is an advantage

• Attention to detail and ability to analyze root cause of the issue on hand

• Collaborate with another department as a one team

• Understanding Electric and Mechanic maintenance for cutting, shearing and slitting machines

• Understanding of Automation, PLC, Servo, SCADA, CNC system equipment

• Knowledge of Heavy duty EOT crane maintenance

• Knowledge about Compressors and other utilities

Job Description

• Running day to day electrical and mechanical maintenance of plant, building, infrastructure, and machines.

• Meets operational goals by contributing information and recommendations for strategic planning and review, preparing and enacting action plans, maintaining production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards, completing audits, identifying trends, recognizing problems and determining appropriate system improvements and solutions.

• Supports financial objectives by forecasting requirements, preparing budgets, scheduling expenditures, analysing variances and taking effective corrective actions.

• Ensures stable electrical supply by maintaining equipment and outlets, including energy management system for prototyping and assembly systems, lighting and security apparatus.

• Provides power and connectivity to workstations and offices by studying blueprints, running electrical wiring for common and dedicated electrical outlets and fixtures, and providing raceways for telephone and fiber communications.

• Supports engineering needs by responding to service requests for mechanical and electrical problems.

• Ensures compliance with all applicable codes and regulations and advises senior management on requirements.

• Maintains material and equipment supplies by regularly monitoring inventory levels, anticipating supply needs, placing and expediting electrical/mechnical material orders and reviewing and approving invoices.

• Preserves equipment in good working order by following operating instructions, troubleshooting malfunctions, keeping supplies on hand, regularly performing preventive maintenance and promptly scheduling repairs.

• Keeps knowledge and skills current by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, networking and participating in professional organizations.

• Upkeep highest level of Safety standard as the Safety leader, communicating & liaison with various government authorities on Safety & Environmental matters.

• Knowledge and experience about hazardous waste management practices and compliances.
