About the job General Operations Manager
Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee relations.
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Monitor cash flow, expenses, and financial performance, identifying opportunities for cost savings and revenue growth.
- Manage financial processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Coordinate with accounting and finance teams to ensure accurate and timely financial records and compliance with accounting standards.
- Identify and onboard vendors and suppliers, negotiating contracts and terms to optimize value and quality.
- Implement project management best practices and tools to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
Skills and Experience
- Proven experience in executive leadership roles within the hospitality or villa management industry is highly desirable.
- Strong business acumen and a demonstrated track record of strategic leadership.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong understanding of HR practices, finance principles, procurement processes, and project management methodologies.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data and metrics to drive decision-making and continuous improvement.
- Strategic thinking and a talent for creative problem-solving.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
Other key requirements
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with fluency in English a must.
- Willingness to collaborate closely with the board of directors and other stakeholders.
- Availability for occasional travel and engagement with clients and partners.
