Client Overview: Our client is a leading importer and distributor of premium food products across Indonesia. Their mission is to provide top-quality food solutions to various segments, including hotels, restaurants, cafés, bakeries, catering services, and general trade.

Position Overview: Our client is looking for a highly experienced and driven Sales Manager to lead our sales operations and drive growth across the Indonesian market. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) and a proven track record in managing sales teams and customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Management: Lead and manage the sales team to achieve sales targets and growth objectives. Provide comprehensive training, guidance, and support to team members.
  • Market Knowledge: Utilize extensive knowledge of the food market (FMCG) to drive sales strategies and ensure market penetration and customer satisfaction across Indonesia, but particularly in the Jabodetabek area.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Maintain and build strong relationships with key customers and distributors. Ensure accurate and up-to-date customer databases.
  • Performance Tracking: Analyze sales data and market trends to make informed decisions and adapt strategies. Demonstrate the ability to meet ambitious targets under pressure.
  • Presentation and Communication: Deliver compelling presentations and communicate effectively with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Innovation and Adaptability: Show high initiative and innovation in developing new strategies and adapting to market changes.
  • Administrative Skills: Use MS Word and Excel proficiently for reporting and data management. Possess a valid driving license (SIM A & SIM C) and have access to a personal vehicle.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in any field.
  • At least 5 years of experience as a National Sales Manager in the FMCG industry or related sectors, with a focus on B2B sales and target markets such as hotels, restaurants, cafés, bakeries, catering services, and general trade.
  • Proven track record of managing customer relationships effectively with accurate database management.
  • Strong knowledge of the food industry (FMCG) and the ability to meet deadlines while achieving ambitious targets under pressure.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Proficient in English (listening, speaking, reading, and writing).
