Our client is a leading manufacturer of power transformers, shunt reactors, and other high-voltage electrical equipment, serving both domestic and international markets with innovative and reliable solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and test mechanical systems and products to meet project specifications.
- Use CAD tools to create detailed designs for components and systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams during product development.
- Optimize manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency and minimize costs.
- Design production layouts and workflows to improve operational effectiveness.
- Implement quality control measures and troubleshoot equipment issues as needed.
- Create and refine detailed 2D and 3D designs for mechanical components and systems.
- Perform design modifications based on client or project requirements.
Qualification:
- Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (mandatory).
- Having relevant experience in the similar field minimum 3 years.
- Masters Degree (optional) for specialized roles, such as R&D, robotics, or thermal systems.
- Relevant certifications (optional but advantageous), such as:
- SolidWorks or AutoCAD Certification.
- Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing.
- Certified Energy Manager (CEM) for energy-focused roles.
- Membership in ASME (American Society of Mechanical Engineers).
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA).
- Familiarity with FEA/CFD tools (e.g., Ansys, MATLAB).
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes (e.g., machining, 3D printing).
- Knowledge of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and material science.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical thinking, and project management skills.
- Strong teamwork abilities and effective communication skills for reports and presentations.
