Client Overview: Our client is a foreign company that is a leading provider of brand logo signage, neon boxes, display cases, and branding equipment for retail stores. All of their clients/customers are Chinese brands across Indonesia. Their mission is to elevate retail experiences through innovative and visually compelling solutions.
Position Overview: Our client is seeking an experienced and dynamic Marketing Manager (Sales) to spearhead our expansion into Indonesian brands. This role requires a strategic leader with a proven track record in driving business growth with a strong network with Indonesian brands. The ideal candidate will also possess conversational Mandarin language skills and have experience managing and developing sales teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Market Expansion: Lead the client's efforts to enter Indonesian brands market. Develop and execute strategic plans to introduce and establish our products among Indonesian brands and retailers.
- Partnership Development: Identify, approach, and secure partnerships with Indonesian brands and projects. Foster and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to drive long-term business success.
- Sales Leadership: Manage a team of sales executives, providing guidance, support, and performance management. Build and scale the sales team as needed to achieve company objectives.
- Strategy and Planning: Develop and implement marketing and sales strategies tailored to the Indonesian market. Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to inform strategic decisions.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and customer service, to ensure alignment and execution of market expansion plans.
- Language Skills: Utilize conversational Mandarin to communicate effectively with Chinese partners, suppliers, and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in sales and marketing, with a focus on business development and market expansion.
- Strong understanding of the retail and branding industry, preferably with experience in signage and branding equipment.
- Demonstrated success in building and managing high-performing sales teams.
- Conversational proficiency in Mandarin is required.
- Strong networking with Indonesian brands is a significant advantage.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
