About the job Commercial Manager
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute commercial strategies to meet revenue targets and drive business growth.
- Manage daily air freight operations in all aspects including cargo planning and cargo claims
- Maintain good working relationships with customers, agents and airlines in order to achieve ultimate customer satisfaction and retention
- Identify new business opportunities and expand customer base in the airfreight and logistics industry.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and industry stakeholders.
- Lead contract negotiations, ensuring favorable terms and conditions.
- Oversee the commercial operations, including revenue forecasting, budgeting, and cost control.
- Provide guidance and support to the sales team in achieving their targets.
- Prepare regular reports on sales performance, market analysis, and commercial activities for senior management.
- Responsible for cost management and overall business solution
- Review the department performance and result
Skills and Qualifications
- Proven broad commercial and operational experience in the Air Cargo sector.
- Possess a strong knowledge and network in the region.
- Capable to independently expand the air freight department and make it
- profitable/increase profitability.
- You have a good understanding of transportation industry and in particular, international
- air freight, shipping specifics and related cost and revenue drivers
- Good analytical skills
- Proven track record of sales in a similar role in air freight forwarding industry
