Company Background

Our client is Agritech company which is developing an online platform that connects the farmers with their respective stakeholders to make their businesses grow rapidly. Various useful features such as a farm input marketplace, technology information & knowledge-sharing will be integrated to help farmers increase yield and sustainable crop production.

Requirement :

• At least in Bachelor's degree in agriculture, business, supply chain management, or a related field.
• Experience 5+ years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management, in agriculture industry.
• Strong understanding of agricultural products and materials, including seeds, fertilizers, and pesticides.
• Experience in negotiating prices and contracts with suppliers.
• Willing to work onsite in Bogor

Scope of Work :

• Involves source Agri Input product and researching various suppliers and leveraging professional networks to find reputable sources for seeds, fertilizers, pesticides, and other inputs.
• Negotiating to suppliers for favorable terms and pricing requires a combination of market knowledge, negotiation skills, and understanding your company's needs and constraints.
• Building strong relationships with producers and distributors to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery.
• Implementing a quality assurance program ensures that products meet specified standards.
• Keeping detailed records of sourcing activities, including supplier performance, pricing, and contract terms, allows for informed decision-making and accountability.
