Job Summary:
We have been retained by one of our clients, a leading technology solution for power, water, and gas networks. They help energy companies save money, improve efficiency, and increase profits. We are seeking a highly experienced Finance Manager to spearhead the establishment of their finance operations in Indonesia. As a key member of the leadership team, you will be responsible for building the finance department from the ground up, implementing financial policies, procedures, and systems to support the company's growth and objectives.
Job Responsibilities:
- Establishing Finance Operations: Lead the establishment and development of finance operations, including implementing financial policies, procedures, and systems from scratch.
- Financial Reporting: Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop and manage the company's budgeting and forecasting processes to support strategic planning and decision-making.
- Cash Flow Management: Monitor cash flow and liquidity to ensure the company's financial stability and support growth initiatives.
- Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.
- Tax and Compliance: Ensure compliance with all applicable tax laws and regulations. Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors as needed.
- Team Leadership: Manage and develop a team of finance professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and mentorship to support their growth and performance.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. MBA or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA) preferred.
- 8-10 years of experience in finance, with a minimum of 4 years in a managerial role.
- Proven experience establishing finance operations from scratch, preferably with experience from a Big 4 accounting firm.
- Strong proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
- Solid understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, and tax regulations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
- Proficiency in financial software and tools, including ERP systems and Microsoft Excel
