Galvanising Knoff

Job Purpose :
Responsible for leading Production and Operations of Galvanising Line and associated Finishing lines to achieve business targets safely within all quality norms by keeping the team motivated and improvement oriented.

Job responsibility :
1. Safety - Ensure compliance of all Safety procedures and Policies to achieve Business Goals of ZERO incident.

2. Quality - Ensure that FG produced conforms to all quality norms specified by the customers. Timely actions for improvement must be taken to raise product quality level in the market.

3. Production - Achieve targeted production in good coordination with PPC, Quality, Maintenance, Logistics departments.

4. Cost - All activities planned and done should be within the budgeted costs. Initiate methods to improve on costs for making our product more competitive in the market. Work continuously to reduce losses and wastages in all the processes.

5. Business Excellence - motivate team to demonstrate their best work done by participating in Business Excellence initiatives enthusiastically.

6. Environment and Sustainability - participate committedly in initiatives taken up and guided by company representatives.

Skill and knowledge :
1. Qualification: Diploma/BE in mechanical, metallurgy, production engineering with relevant experience in Galvanising in similar businesses >15years. Good knowledge of Galvanising process and galvanised products and market. Should have a good knowledge of plant operations and maintenance.

2. Analytical and Problem-solving: should be able to solve problems arising in due course of production and FG conversion.

3. Communication: should be able to express clearly and influence team with positivity.

4. Leadership: able to guide, nurture and drive the team to achieve and excel business goals and targets.

5. Resilient: should be calm and composed in the time of crisis while driving the team out of the crisis
