Sales Manager (Water Treatment)

Our client is a USD 1 billion group of companies, providing a range of engineering solutions in the energy and environment sectors. They are headquartered in India and operate globally through 19 international offices (including Indonesia) and 12 manufacturing facilities (5 in overseas).

About the Role

This position will handling all sales activities for the company's Water and Waste Water Business in Indonesia. The position will report to Business Unit Lead in HQ and is a sole contributor position, for now (will build own team in the future).

Job Responsibilities

• Manage sales and achieve order booking target for Water Treatment unit, Sea Water Desalination system, Waste Water Treatment Plant and Recycle & ZLD system.
• Extensive travelling and approach customer to understand their requirement and generate enquiries.
• Understand client requirements, coordinate with various operating groups and develop a competitive proposal.
• Submit offer in consultation with HO coordinators and pursue to convert into order.
• Engage in techno-commercial discussions with clients, consultants, EPC contractors for business development in Indonesia
• Track & report sales and marketing activities on a decided periodic basis.
• Analyze market trends and keep other departments updated about them.
• Map the market and keeping track of the competitors.
• Frequent business travels across Indonesia

Job Requirements

• Essential Qualification : Good Academic record throughout and Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Chemical, Environment Science, Mechanical from reputed institutions.
• Experience: 10 - 12 years' experience in the field of Sales in Water
  business in Indonesia.
• Negotiating and Interpersonal skills
• Techno-commercial evaluation skills, Contracting knowledge
• Basic Knowledge about Water (DM & SWRO) and Waste Water (Recycle, ZLD)
• Excellent Communication, Networking and presentation skills
• Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment
• Organizing and Planning Skills
• Process and result oriented, self-starter, with a winning attitude
• Should be able to understand engineering drawings, P&ID's, documentation procedure requirements with ease.
