Location: Central Kalimantan (Barito Selatan)
Our client is a leading multinational coal mining company primarily involved in coal mining operations in Kalimantan.
Role Summary:
Oversees daily on-site extraction, hauling, and heavy equipment
activities to ensure production targets are met efficiently, safely,
and in compliance with environmental and regulatory standards.
Lead crews, inspect equipment, manage contractors, and prepare
performance reports, acting as a link between management and
frontline workers. This position has 8:2 roster arrangement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safety Leadership: Enforce safety protocols, conduct risk assessments, and ensure a "zero harm" culture.
- Production Management: Supervise mining operations (e.g.,
drilling, blasting, loading, hauling) to meet hourly/daily production
goals. - Equipment Coordination: Manage heavy equipment positioning to
optimize utilization and minimize downtime. - Personnel Supervision: Direct crews, including shift scheduling,
training, coaching, and implementing corrective actions. - Planning & Reporting: Implement operational plans, review
performance metrics, and submit detailed reports on output, cost,
and activity. - Compliance: Ensure compliance with all safety regulations,
mining laws, and company policies.
Qualifications:
- Blasting experience is required.
- Minimum 4–8 years of operational experience, including
supervisory experience. - Knowledge of open-pit or underground mining methods,
equipment, and safety regulations. - Leadership, communication, and troubleshooting skills.
- Certifications, such as a Production Foreman Certification or
relevant local Mining Technical Certification (e.g., POP,
POM). - Relevant degree (e.g., Mining Engineering) is preferred.
- English speaking ability is advantageous.
